众所周知，熊猫是我国的国宝。可是，你知道这只熊猫吗?它就是我国20xx年冬奥会的一只吉祥物冰墩墩。
说了你可能不信，它最初的原型竟然是冰糖葫芦!这是由于在吉祥物评审的过程中，冰糖葫芦的创意作品入围了前十，它就是冰墩墩最初的创意来源。后来，设计团队经历了长达半年多的修改，才改成冰墩墩。可以说，如果没有最初冰糖葫芦的创意作品，就没有现在的冰墩墩。
说完了它的来历，就说说我对它的理解吧!
一开始，我认为它是冬残奥会的吉祥物。因为我认为冰的意思是坚强;墩墩的意思是健康，是鼓励残疾运动员的。后来却发现我乌龙了。冰的意思其实是象征着纯洁、坚强，是冬奥会的特点;墩墩，其实是意喻着敦厚、健康、活泼、可爱，象征着冬奥会运动员强壮的身体、坚韧的意志和鼓舞人心的奥林匹克精神。
其次，我发现它有冰雪一样的外壳，外形特征与冬奥会的特点很相符，展示了冬奥会的特点，我认为让它做冬奥会吉祥物的选择真的不错。

说实话，当初报名参加这个演讲比赛的初衷只是为了锻炼一下自己的能力，根本就没有考究这次比赛该讲什么?而当我真正知道演讲的题目是“放飞梦想，畅响自强”的时候，我茫然了。因为我根本就记不起自己的梦想是什么?
回忆当初，高考失利后无奈只能选择一所三本学校就读的时候，我就暗暗发誓，我必须在大学里好好努力，一定要把高考留下的遗憾给补回来，一定要创出属于自己的一片天地。
可是上了大学后的我却在大学宽松自由的环境中变得堕落颓废，早上赖床睡懒觉，晚上卧谈到深夜，一有空余时间就往网吧里钻，学习对于我来说似乎成了一件奢侈品，现在的我也早已习惯了自由懒散，我的内心也已经麻木了，根本不知道理想是怎么回事了。
然而这次演讲的主题深深地触动了我，也深深的把我给激醒，在准备这次演讲的过程中，我似乎明白了许多，成长了许多。人的一生很短暂，如果一个人活在世上的唯一目的就是平庸地活下去，那么这个人就是在世上流浪了一辈子。一个人只有树立远大的理想，并且为了这个理想而不为挫折，坚持不懈得奋斗下去，才能完成一个人应该完成的事，
有些人或许在怀疑自己是否有这个能力，质疑自己的资质。而我想说的就是发光并不是太阳的专利，我们同样可以，要想别人看的起自己，首先得自己看的起自己。每个人都有自己潜在的能量，只是很容易就被习惯所掩盖，被时间所迷离，被惰性所消磨。所以我们必须树立起自己的梦想一步一步的往前走，终究会触及梦想的边缘的。河大工商学院曾和我一样落魄迷茫的朋友们站起来吧!梦想总是为愿意奋斗的人准备的，让我们都从一个微不足道的开始而为自己的梦想而努力吧!
也许在这过程中，我们会遇到许多坎坷，但我们都得明白“天将降大任于是人也，必先苦其心志，劳其筋骨，饿其体肤，空乏其身，行拂乱其所为。”挫折是必定会有的，但我们不应该有所畏惧，因为我们的梦想在前方，我们有着一双可以为梦想而努力的双脚，就算倒下了，我们也要毫不犹豫的站起来继续走下去，用《亮剑》里面李云龙的一句话就是“死，也要死在冲锋的路上”。我们都要“是人当自强”，说到“自强”这个词，我曾刻意地查过它的含义，字典上的解释就是：自己努力向上。不要在乎自己站在哪个位置，只要坚持自己梦想的方向，自强不息，时刻鞭策自己激励自己，那么最后我们也同样会站在辉煌的至高点，并且有可能我们会比别人站得更高，因为我们一直在努力向上。没有比脚更长的路，没有比人更高的山，我们只要积极努力向上，不断地超越自己，我们就可以骄傲的对着天空说我的未来不是梦，因为我们一直在做一个努力向上，不断超越的自强之人。

当象征着冬季赛道的彩色光环出现在我们穿着糖葫芦外壳的国宝面前，你看他像不像是一个宇航员呢？这下我们的国宝是不是又有了现代世纪的科技感、未来感呢？提到科技感，大家可能首先想到的就是现在的5g互联网了，于是这个彩色光环就变成了更有未来感的能量光环。这时我们的宇航员熊猫是不是形象就更饱满了呢！
形象打造完了，我们是不是得给这个吉祥物取的名字呢？总不能就直接叫他熊猫吧？要有北京特色又符合他的形象，这可有点难啊！北京，北京的特色可不就是糖葫芦嘛！这和他身上的糖葫芦外壳有相呼应了！可又不能直接叫他糖葫芦呀！其实呀，糖葫芦以前也叫糖墩儿。墩儿是个特别有意思的词，有一种北方冬天的特点，也特别得亲切，就像邻家小孩一样特别健康、活泼、可爱。可是外国人他可读不出墩儿这个音，于是啊，这只宇航员大熊猫就有了一个可爱的叠字名——墩墩。想到是冬天，我们在名字中加了一个“冰〃字。

but beyond that, it is a place of millions of friendly people who love to meet people from around the world. people of beijing believe that the 2008 olympic games in beijing will help to enhance the harmony between our culture and the diverse cultures of the world. their gratitude will pour out in open expressions of affection for you and the great movement that you guide.

i am afraid i can not present the whole picture of our cultural programs within such a short period of time. before i end, let me share with you one story. seven hundred years ago, amazed by his incredible descriptions of a far away land of great beauty, people asked marco polo whether his stories about china were true.he answered: what i have told you was not even half of what i saw. actually, what we have shown you here today is only a fraction of beijing that awaits you.
